Meet author and nurse-researcher, Jane Esselstyn, RN, who will discuss the benefits that come when you pile your plate high with plant-based goodness. She addresses anatomy, physiology, and the body’s response to a whole-foods, plant-based diet.

Jane travels the country discussing ways to prevent and reverse childhood obesity, heart disease, and other lifestyle related diseases.  She is the co-author of two very popular books, The Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease Cookbook, which she co-wrote with her Mom, Ann Crile Esselstyn, and The Engine 2 Cookbook, which she co-wrote with her brother, Rip Esselstyn.

Jane is the founder and president of Health Care is Self-Care™. Jane is a wife, mom, nurse, health educator, cookbook author and restaurant consultant.
