Relationship, Intuition, and Contemplation in the Practice of Integrative Medicine
Bettina Herbert, MD, FAAMPR
Dr. Herbert is an integrative physician in private practice, who has been a Bravewell Scholar at the University of Arizona Center of Integrative Medicine, and Director of the Integrative Pain Management Program at the Jefferson-Myrna Brind Center of Integrative medicine will reflect on the important “other” dimensions of medical practice, including the doctor-patient relationship, and the role of intuition in practice.
WCU professor Don McCown will help explore the contemplative dimension, by guiding two meditations that often show their value with patients with chronic pain; recordings of the meditations will be available to participants.
